These Terms & Conditions govern the use of ResuMate (“Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description
ResuMate is an AI-powered platform that provides:
- CV analysis and optimisation
- Job matching and scoring
- Content generation (CVs, cover letters)
- Career insights and interview preparation
Services are offered through one-time payment plans and subscription plans.
3. User Account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Services. By creating an account or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Users may be required to create an account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining account confidentiality
- All activity under your account
We may suspend accounts in case of misuse.
4. Plans & Payments
4.1 Plan Types
ResuMate offers:
- One-time purchase plans
- Subscription plans (future functionalities)
4.2 Access Limits
Each plan includes specific usage limits, such as:
- Number of CV analyses
- Number of job matches
- Access to premium features
4.3 Payments
- Payments are processed via secure third-party providers
- Prices are displayed before purchase
- Access is granted after successful payment
4.4 Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically
- You can cancel at any time
- Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period
4.5 Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the service:
Payments are non-refundable once the service has been used.
Exceptions may be granted at our discretion.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Use the platform lawfully
- Not attempt to exploit or abuse the system
Prohibited actions include:
- Automated usage (bots, scripts)
- Bypassing plan limitations
- Submitting malicious or manipulative content
- Attempting to influence AI behaviour beyond intended use
We reserve the right to restrict access, suspend accounts, or block users in case of abuse.
6. AI Disclaimer
ResuMate uses AI-generated outputs.
You acknowledge that:
- Outputs may contain inaccuracies
- Results do not guarantee job offers
- Generated content should be reviewed before use
ResuMate is not responsible for hiring decisions or user reliance on generated content.
7. Intellectual Property
- Platform content, design, and technology belong to ResuMate
- Users retain ownership of their uploaded content
- Users are granted a licence to use generated outputs
You may not:
- Copy or replicate the platform
- Reuse technology without permission
8. Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform may experience:
- Maintenance
- Temporary outages
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ResuMate is not liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Loss of job opportunities
- Decisions based on generated outputs
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violation of terms
- Abusive behaviour
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes will be resolved in Romanian courts.
12. Updates
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use implies acceptance.
